Independence Heights boundaries and location
The City places Independence Heights north of Loop 610 and west of I-45, extending north to Tidwell Road. The super-neighborhood reaches west toward North Shepherd Drive and includes a railroad/Yale-area boundary on part of its western side.
Because “Independence Heights” may refer to the historic core or the larger City super-neighborhood, the map and property’s legal subdivision should both be checked when researching an address.
