The Boulevard Oaks Civic Association describes the main area as bounded by the Southwest Freeway to the north, Morningside to the west, Bissonnet to the south and Graustark/Parkway to the east, with several additional blocks and properties also included.
The neighborhood is close to Rice University, the Museum District, Hermann Park and the Texas Medical Center.
